Greenwich, CT: Jason Osborne founder of Jay-O Productions has completed his long awaited debut album Private Road. What once started as a favorite past time for Jason (aka Jay-O), of beat making and experimentation with new sounds on his computer, spawned into a year and half project with the end result, Private Road. Jay-O a self-taught: musical engineer, audio mixer, producer, and on occasion lyricist; created, recorded, and assembled this album all from his home studio. With a vision, determination, and long hours of hard work Private Road is brought to life with no end in sight. When asked Jay-O about his thoughts on the completion of his introductory album, Jay-O responded “ I feel great about this album, what was once a dream has turned into reality, leaving me a with a major sense of accomplishment.” The make-up of Private Road is hands down diverse as described by Jay-O, as the album experiments with the sounds of Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B; truly illustrating the variety of music that Jay-O is capable of producing. The sultry sound of the song entitled “So Into You” flirts with a smooth Jazz feel, while the song “Friday’s Child” merges 1960’s Pop, with today’s Hip-Hop, creating a favorite track on the album. PRIVATE ROAD COMING AUGUST 23RD WELCOME TO MY PRIVATE ROAD

THE TIME HAS ALMOST COME!! The album is finished and now its all about getting the minor details figured out (duplication, distribution, release party etc..) Above is the fresh new album cover for Private Road. I am really happy with the way it came out and big shout outs to the graphic designer who designed it. It was exactly the theme I was looking for so I’m glad that it was able to be put on paper and come out looking great.

BELOW IS THE OFFICIAL TRACK LIST FOR PRIVATE ROAD! The map in the background is a Google earth image of my hometown Greenwich Ct. There will be 14 tracks total, 10 songs and 4 FREE instrumentals that are either favorites of mine or of others. The BRAND NEW single off the album is #3 on the album called “CAKE”. It features two artists (Kris Prada, and G-Evolution) who I’ve worked with in the past and collaborated with on this album. I also have a verse on the track but rapping is not my future, producing is. Either way we all came together for this track, Jay O PRO on the beat and G-Evolution on the chorus, Kris Prada killed his verse and so did G-Evo check out the song and let me know what you think!

THE RELEASE DATE FOR PRIVATE ROAD IS AUGUST 23rd!! I figure that will be enough time to figure out how I actually want to push the album, as well as plan the release party. I have put so much work into this freshman debut that I deserve to celebrate my efforts and accomplishments! In preparing for the release I will be putting out Freestyles, see my latest freestyle video HERE. As well as more beat making videos, I just posted my 4th beat making video, you can watch it HERE. My YouTube Channel is becoming very active lately and I will be utilizing it to really push out other material other than Private Road. It feels good to create something you are proud of and to know you put your all into it. I’m sure I will get haters but it doesn’t matter if you hate on it at least I know you listened to it and that’s all that matters to me right now. KEY FOCUS-EXPOSURE and the Intro Single “Whats On Your Mind?”

Whats GOOD everyone?! I wanted to write a blog about the recent moves I’ve been making and wanted to keep everyone updated on the album. THE ALBUM IS FINISHED…well with recording that is, I have completed the songs that I wanted on the album and no more tracks will be added to it. I will Post the track list later as soon as figure out the order I want to put them in. In order to prep for its release I have joined REVERBNATION a great music networking site that will help me connect with more local musicians and fans and add diversity to the way I spread my music. I uploaded 20 beat productions, most of which are not on my official site. I thought it would be good way to showcase more of my work for the release of the album. I also have started to utilize my YOUTUBE account, I will be posting freestyles, beat making videos, and anything else that people would/will want to see. Along with my FACEBOOK and TWITTER accounts I will be able really push my album “PRIVATE ROAD” online. I also have posted a full song off the album called “Whats On Your Mind?” its the song playing when you first come to this site, or click here to listen. Its a great introductory single to who I am and what I’m about. I actually wrote the song and produced the beat back in early March, March was a horrible month for me and I had a lot on my mind, thus the motivation and the rest is history! I think its a great song with a chill beat that a lot of people around me as well as those far way can relate too. Stay tuned for MORE!!

Hey everyone, so with recording finished on the album (actually we might have one more to record), I thought it would be good to let you know what to expect from my freshman debut. The point of Private Road is to showcase all of my talent as a producer. The ability to be able to create hot tracks, instrumental or song. So with that in mind the album will be made up of both instrumental tracks and fully recorded songs over beats that I have produced. I will be featuring on some songs but not all, and will also showcase the talent of artists that I have featuring on the album as well. The title “Private Road” comes from two things. The first being my surroundings, all my life I have grown up around private roads, not knowing what to expect or see. The second is the relation I have with that previous fact and my music. Most people are coming down my own “Private Road” when listening to this album. Like I said before its my freshman debut. Your not going to know what to expect to hear, and its going to be a decision on rather or not you keep driving down it, or turn around and press the eject button. (I’m sure you will keep driving) (I KNOW you will keep driving) Anyway that’s where the title derives from. I am featuring a select few of artists to also feature on the album. I currently have 3 artists on the album and possibly 4 if we decided to record one last song. I thought it was good to have other artists on the album as well because 1.they can really murder a track and 2. im not a rapper ….so with that said if I decided to do the whole album myself, it would of been a bad idea because its not my strength. I can do hooks and spit a hot 16 but its rare that I do a whole song solo (i have 2 solo songs on the album) So the other artists I brought in on the project really enhance the album and complete it. Shout outs to kris Prada D Money aka pun resurrected and POP !! I also will be featuring instrumentals as well. These productions were made specially for “Private Road” and are some of my best work. I liked to include a mix of all of my beats so some will be hard, others will be soft, some will be chill, others will be tense you get the idea. So the combination of the two is classic. Private Road is set to release at the end of June…look out for that heat!
